  1. Well, since it's Disneyland's 50th anniversary I hope everybody understand's this is special. And because it's special they painted Disneyland gold. Now to top that off they put Hidden Mickey 50's. It's a hidden Mickey with a 50 on it. Some could be seen easily, but others are hard to find. They could be found on attractions, streets in the park, and restraunts. Keep your eye's peeled.

  3. My mother's uncles owned Playland at the Beach in San Francisco California. As most people know, Walt Disney traveled all over the country and employed other amusement park owners as consultants for what would eventually become Disneyland. They were glad to help because they really thought he would need help. They all thought building an amusement park on the site of an old orange grove was crazy and he was so far away from themselves that even if his park did succeed it would never interfere with their own business. Well this of course was right at the start of television and the jet age. Little did they know that Disney would revolutionize the business and take it over. Anyway, in 1954 Walt stayed with Mom's uncles and visited Playland in San Francisco. The next morning the Whitney Brothers got the idea to take Walt across the San Francisco Bay Bridge to Oakland to a little park called Childerns Fairyland, which is still there. Walt loved the place. They have a walk through attraction based on Alice in Wonderland, which later played a part in influencing the Alice attraction at Disneyland. Walt liked the cartoons that were painted on the wall and he therefore asked permission to contribute one of his own. I am sure that Fairylands owners were thrilled at the idea. So they gave him some paints from the supply room and Walt hand painted this Mickey Mouse directly onto the wall. So, enjoy the photo and if you are ever in Oakland California, go to Childrens Fairyland to see what is probably the oldest Hidden Mickey of them all.

For sure there's one on Level 2 (Daisy) in front of the pole/beam in-between aisle 3A & 3B.
    CONFIRMED: anon 21 SEP 00
My boyfriend and I were walking to our car and I saw the hidden mickey on the Daisy Level in the parking structure. It is located between poles numbered 3A and 3B, there is a pole betweent those two poles and the hidden mickey is located on the ground, right next to the pole.
    CONFIRMED: Heather 31 OCT 01
We found one in the concrete swirls in the parking structure.  It is large with the "head" circle being almost two feet in diameter.  Thousands of folks just walk over it, never looking down.  It is on the 2nd floor at 2A.  It is just outside of the stall, so even when a car is there, it remains visible.

The legs of the bench are the large circle and one of the smaller ones, the other smaller circle points straight up to anchor the back of the bench.

I had to make a comment about the hidden Mickey sighting that is number nine on the general sightings list. The mickeys that are the bench legs in the ticket area are decor...they are easily visible due to the fact that there are about 15 benches with this on them and the Mickey's are about two feet tall.

  11. This isn't exactly a hidden Mickey. However, during the traffic reports on the news, there is a little Mickey head showing where Disneyland is on the close up of Anaheim. Like I said, it's not really hidden, but it's kind of cute to look for.
    REPORTED: Kate 16 JUN 98
  12. This one's not exactly hidden, but you do need some in-the-know about it, however. On the new parking lot trams, the Big Dawgs as a PL cast member will call them, there's one on the horn. The trams were built by Disney, however they did use some standard auto parts. The steering column came from Ford. Disney covered up the Ford logo with a picture of Mickey on it, so Ford wouldn't come in and say Disney was using their products in a commercial way. If you ask the tram driver extremely nicely, he may let you look...
REPORTED: Glasses Crow 02 AUG 98
  13. I am a Disneyland cast member. I work in the Parking Lot (driving the trams, rear tram, directing traffic, etc...). At certain times of the day when the sun hits the light poles in the parking lot a certain way, they make a hidden Mickey.

In front of the building, facing away from the park, are these green hedges that produce Mickey shaped berries! The head looks like a big green berry and two attached smaller red berries, which looks like a green Mickey head with red ears.I don't know if they were made to grow this way, or just a freak occurance, but the Mickey berries do exist!
REPORTED: John Solorzano 28 JAN 98
The Mickey Berries are true! I saw them with my own eyes. The bush is still located near Harbor House. It was trimmed a little, but it's still there even after all the construction. Good Work John for spotting them!

  32. This could just be wishful thinking, but I could swear I found a naturally occurring Hidden Mickey. I was riding the monorail from the Disneyland Hotel. I was sitting with my back to the front of the monorail on the far right side of the car. I was looking down and to my left side at the lily ponds as we were heading into Tomorrowland. I saw three lily pads in the shape of Mickey's head and ears. It could have been just a naturally occurring formation, but it's also possible that the Imagineers designed the pads that way.

  1. We inquired about Disneyland weddings, and received some beautiful brochures, etc. from Disney inside this pretty folder with a gorgeous Disney Fairy Tales logo. And the paper is embossed-- you know, with a raised pattern of flowers, etc., like a wedding invitation. And it took me two days to look at the pattern-- lo and behold, this gorgeous embossed paper has tiny Mickeys in it!!! They're very tasteful, very well-spaced, but they're purposeful Mickeys.
