  1. In the Team Disney Building, inside the main entrance of the building you will see a red ceiling with black lines. If you look the black lines form a Hidden Goofy.
    REPORTED: anon 31 JUL 96
I can confirm that inside the Team Disney Building, there is a red ceiling with an abstract Goofy made up of the black lines. At an Annual Passholder Party a couple of years ago, they let everyone go into the main entrance of the building. The Goofy was very difficult to see, but the security guard was pointing it out to everyone.
    CONFIRMED: anon 03 JUN 99
I wanted to confirm the sighting of the Goofy in Team Disney. I use to work at Diseyland and was pointed out to me at orientation. I always looked at it when I went in the building. It was always hard to find. Finally standing there after a while, it made sense.

Disney Studio

  1. If you look at the front of the office building at the northwest corner of the Disney Studio lot in Burbank, California (Alameda Avenue and Buena Vista Street), there are the Seven Drwarfs arranged as gargoyles.
REPORTED: SirOsis of Liver 23 MAY 97
Those Sevens Dwarfs you call "gargoyles" are actually stylized columns put there to mimick a Roman or Greek temple. While designing the building, Michael Eisner told architect Michael Graves to "lighten-up" the design. As a result he added the Seven Dwarfs from Snow White to hold up the pediment(s). They are an architectural detail.

I may have seen another hidden Eeyore in the Temple of the Forbidden Eye. It is in the same area as "Bones. " In the skeleton display, there are a couple of painted scenes that show paths leading off into the distance. There is a rock about three feet high painted on the right side of one of these paths about two/thirds of the way into the display. Several people that I went with agree that it probably is a hidden Eeyore.
CONFIRMED: Greg Shoop 07 MAY 96 pict from hiddenmickeys.org

In the Indiana Jones Adventure line, in the Film Room, if one looks to ones left upon immediate entry, one will see a cracked- away section of the wall, sort of a mixture of plaster and wall. Anyway, in this place, right where the darkness of the Film Room meets the light of the previous one, I can make out an image of Eeyore. It's not obvious, but I believe it's there.
CONFIRMED: Matthew Kamm 18 AUG 96
From what I've been told, there are 2 Eeyore signs, and they are both in the queue area. I've also been told that without a flashlight, you cannot see them. If there are 3 Eeyore signs, then 2 are in the queue and one is in the ride as mentioned.
CONFIRMED: Theresa Kyame 19 JAN 97
Inside the ride is a parking lot sign because the ride is built on what use to be a parking lot.

In the queue, of Indiana Jones, as you first enter the film room, you make a right and then a left. Once you reach the end of the first left turn, you look up and see board slates going across as hiding something. If you have a flashlight, you shine it through the slates to see an Eyore parking sign, from the parking lot section of Eyore. A Disney Cast Member told us that the Cast Members placed this up there as a tribute. We have seen this many times because of our anual passports.

In the rafters of the film room queuing area for Indiana Jones there is one of the Eeyore signs that came from the section of parking lot that was used for building the Indiana Jones ride.
CONFIRMED: Sharon Bereskow 10 JUN 97
In the film room in the Indiana Jones ride look straight up when you enter. If you look closely you may see an Eeyore Parking lot sign. The Building which is actually located behind Pirates and The Haunted Mansion, not Adventureland, used to be the Eeyore Section of the Parking Lot. The Imaginears when they built the ride thought it would be funny to put the old now useless sign on the catwalks above as a memorial. (You may need a flashlight to see it.)

CONFIRMED: Martin Clemena 29 MAY 97
Inside the Indy Queue, as you enter the theatre with the 'Newsreel' introduction playing, take a good flashlight and look up between the planks at the rear of the projector platform. There is an old white-on-blue 'Eeyore' parking lot area sign sitting on the platform. Remember, the Eeyore section was where the ride building is sitting now. ( I'm not the original spotter, but I had a Maglight with me when a bunch of a.d.d'ers were going through. )
CONFIRMED: Bruce Bergman 06 JUL 97
We were at the park , and I happened to bring along a flashlight to find the Eeyore sign. It took us two tries but we spotted it. When you enter the movie room, you make an immediate right hand turn. When you reach the first switchback to turn left, lean with your back to the wall and shine your flashlight straight up. You will see the Eeyore sign sitting on the bamboo slats above you. When we found this, there were gasps from the crowd, and the group I was with did a little victory dance in line.

While standing in the Film Room, look turn around and look up at the projector that is suppose to be showing the movie. If you look behind that projector, you will actually see the more modern projector that is really showing the movie. The movement of the fake camera is sinked perfectly with the real one.
CONFIRMED: Damian Potesta 24 MAR 98
Yes it is true that there are 2 projectors in the waiting movie room. A more modern projector projects the the movie, but they are both synchronized.
CONFIRMED: Nick Bryden 05 APR 98
The "more modern" projector that has been refered to is in fact a video projector (I assume the video source is a laserdisc). The video you are watching is made to look like old fim stock or slides. This along with the standard film projector that is synced with the video image helps to create the illusion that you are indeed watching a real film. If you look closely at the film projector (it looks likes some kind of old 8mm projector) you will discover that while the light shines and the reels move, there is actually no film running through the gate from one reel to the other. It really does create a nice effect though!
CONFIRMED: Alex Carr 06 APR 98
A Cast Member stated that Indiana Jones was built over a section of the Eeyore parking lot and somewhere in the queue, an Eeyore sign still exists. This is true. To see it you must bring a flashlight because of hoe dark it is in the little movie area.
CONFIRMED: Wednesday Addams 01 MAY 98
In the projector room, there is of course the actual projector, and the mock projector. If you watch the mock projector (The old reel to reel) sometimes the reels are turning in to each other, not spinning the same direction. During different sequences in the film, the reels will turn the right way. The same direction. And sometimes they will start turning the opposite direction. It changes direction when it stops the film and goes to the sildes and then starts the film again.

When Disneyland made the Indiana Jones Ride they couldn't fit it all in the park. so they took part of the Eeyore parking lot and when they did that they left an Eeyore parking pole in the Movie Chamber on the third turn. Most of the time it's too dark but if you ask someone they just might take you in when the park is closing and show you with their flashlights.

There really is a hidden Eeyore sign in the film room area of the Indiana Jones ride. It is up high with some bamboo platforms. You will need a flashlight to see it though. Everyone else in line was amazed once we pointed it out.
CONFIRMED: Leilah Ali Musa 03 JUN 99
My friends and I went a few days ago and we took a 5 cell mag-light. It took us two times in line to find it, but we finally did. It's really there. If you are in line and you look sraight above you, it is really hard to tell that it's there. You have to take about two or three generous sized steps towards the wall. The sign looks like a big building block. But it's blue and it definately says Eeyore on it.

After years of trying to find the Eeyore sign in the Indiana Jones ride, I have finally seen it! I feel like I just won an Olympic medal! If you get a Fastpass then you narrow your search down quite a bit. In the Fastpass line, right when you enter the film room, look up and you will see a bamboo catwalk. Look between the bamboo and you will see the sign. It is rather large and it is a white picture of Eeyore's whole body from the side on a blue background. I was lucky enough to go through the ride and there was a light on up there that made it really easy to see. I saw it in May of 2001. Disney often changes little things in the park(they just don't disappear and reappear as some of the sightings seem to suggest). They are removed or added to give people something new to see. Sometimes it's just because they don't work and they do have a reputation to uphold. Anyway, now you know what to do, if you are lucky enough to catch the light on, you will see it too.
CONFIRMED: Eric Wilson 26 MAY 01
To see the Eeyore sign in the projector room of the Indiana Jones Ride, heres an easy way to see it without the flashlight, and without looking like a fool, while you crane your neck straight up to view it- As the line funnels out of the projector room and into the next room, it takes a 180 degree turn, and you are now looking back into the projector room. Look above the stack of articles above the projector and shure enough, theres eeyore in all his glory.
    UPDATE: Big_Joe 04 JUN 01
After exiting the film room, look back up towards the projector and you will see a white silhouette OF Eeyore. Note quite a mickey, but a disney character nevertheless.

I found the sign in the movie room when you go in look up by the bamboo slates if you don't see it keep going straight untill you get to the next room which is small and look through the small window where you'll see it for sure. When you look in the window, look up near the ceiling.
CONFIRMED: Anna Marie 15 AUG 01
While walking towards the screen in the film room on the Indiana Jones ride, wait until the exact moment when you walk through the doorway at the end of the room. Look up at the projectors just a little bit to the left. There sits an Eyore parking lot sign. This sign is from the old parking lot that was removed in order for "Temple Of The Forbidden Eye" to take its place. It helps a lot if you have a flashlight.
CONFIRMED: Michael Herrera 03 JAN 02
There is an Eeyore parking sign inside the film room of the Indiana Jones Adventure, but easiest way to see it is not from the film room the best view is from Indy's office if you stand at the door closest to the ramp and shine a flashlight along the center of the ceiling you can see it perfectly.
    CONFIRMED: anon 30 JAN 02
My mom and I were talking to one of the ride crew members. And he showed us the hidden Eeyore sign which is located on the same stand as the projector. You can see it without a flashlight but look closely. He informed us that Indy was built on the Eeyore parking lot and left the sign there as a memory of the parking lot. For a perfect look of it, if you enter the entrance(on the right hand side) after the movie section, once you turn the rope divider,if you look out the second exit that overlooks the movie theater, the eeyore is located right above the projector. You can't miss it.
    CONFIRMED: Amanda 17 APR 02
It took me many times of going through the line on this ride to finally see the eeyore parking lot sign in the film room. You do not need a flashlight. All you need to do is, once you get all the way through the film room and are by the office, look back through the doorway straight up to the very back wall. You will see the sign very clearly. I was so excited when I finally found it that I pointed it out to everyone in line around me.

Well, it is actually a Hidden Goofy. On "The Pirates of the Carribean" towards the end of the attraction, there is a barrel of gunpowder with 2 cats standing on top of it on your left. The shadow of both these cats, together makes a silohuette of Goofy's head. No joke, it is so great!!

Here's the hidden Pluto, and I know it's not Mickey, but it's not fake either. It is located on two barrels on the right side of the boat midway through the ride. On top of the barrels are two black cats, standing with their backs arched. These cats are shined on with a spotlight, and their shadows form the silouhette of Pluto - much like the Mickey on the pirate sail (also definitely a Mickey).
CLARIFICATION: Nathan Naversen 24 DEC 95
I have seen what they are talking and if anything it looks more like a Goofy. It's just a circle (shadow of the cats side) with two long droopy ears (shadow of the cats tails). I don't know... Maybe you should leave it on the Hidden Mickey pages even though it's not one.
I read that someone had seen a hidden Pluto on the Pirates of the Pirates of the Caribbean. I looked for him and did see the pluto/goofy shadow from the two cats.
UPDATE: David Kozen 17 MAR 96
The Pluto shadow, it is there, across from the singing men next to the donkey braying through the Dutch Door. It is Pluto and not Goofy. You can tell because Pluto walks on four legs and Goofy stands upright.

  12. There is a hidden Sid Ceasar. Near the end of the ride when there are some people in the jail. The man closest to the dog is the spitting image of Sid Ceasar. I wouldn't report this unless it was as obvious as it is.

In respect to the report of having Sid Ceaser located in the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, I'd bet money that it's true. It's fairly common knowledge that the imagineers placed themselves and many influencial Disney personel and friends as pirates inside the ride.

In the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, one of pirates trying to lure the dog with the key is the likeness of Sid Caesar. Sid was the friend of one the Pirate Imagineers and a great Disneyland fan, so they modeled a pirate after him as a joke. That fact was located in one of the "about disneyland" books that is sold in the gift shops. I bought my book with this fact in 1999.

  1. While paddling around the Rivers of America in the Davy Crockett Explorer Canoes, I glanced over toward Tom Sawyer Island and spotted a stump in the water that looked vaguely familiar. Viewed from the side, it is clearly the profile of Pooh - his snout and mouth are the lower half of the stump. If I recall correctly, it's on the side of the island where Fantasmic is performed.
REPORTED: Anne Bevilacqua 28 AUG 97
As I was walking pass the Rivers of America I noticed a familiar looking tree stump in front of Tom Sawyers Island. I asked my friend who she saw when she looked at it and she agreed with me. It does look like Winnie the Pooh!

Splash Mountain

  1. On Splash Mountain, there are 4 referances to Warner Brothers charecters. Throughout the ride, there are signs, in which each one reads either Bugs, Daffy, Road Runner, or Porky. They are part of other phrases in the signs, yet they are all in capital letters, so it's obvious. Could it be that Splash Mountain is home to more than just Disney Charecters?

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

  1. On The Big Thunder ride there is a hidden Dumbo. As you enter the first dark cave right before the bat room you can see an image of Dumbo on the left hand side. It is illuminated with black light. After riding the ride about five times everyone in my group found it.
    REPORTED: Brian 12 JUL 01
On Big Thunder Mountain Railroad there is a Hidden Dumbo. It is on the left and it is on both tunnels. Right before the bats there is a black lighted area with bone shapes. The first one looks just like the Dumbo on the Dumbo ride in Fantasyland. It is a bone of some sort. Look very quickly because its gone in a second.

The "Playboy Bunny" in the Alice in Wonderland ride is there but I found that they had two pictures! There's one on the left and one on the right. They are not in the exact form or drawing of the actual Playboy Bunny but they are certainly close to it.
CONFIRMED: TRMHatter 19 MAR 01 pict from hiddenmickeys.org
About the Playboy Bunny in the Alice in Wonderland ride, I found out that there are 3 of them! 2 of them sit next to each other and look almost completely identical. The third one is on the right and you have to look back at it.
    UPDATE: TRMHatter 19 MAR 01
There have been sightings of one, two, and even three Playboy Bunny pictures on Alice in Wonderland. There are many confirmations, and even pictures of them! However, looking at the photos, I say that those aren't Playboy Bunnies at all! There's no eye and no bowtie, which are trademark to the Playboy Bunny. Rather, those are probably supposed to be profile portraits or even shilhouettes (like the ones they sell at the park).

Peter Pan's Flight

pict from hiddenmickeys.org
  1. This is not a Hidden Mickey but on Peter Pan's Flight in Wendy, Jon and I Forget Room right as you enter the Darling family nursery there are some alphabet building blocks stacked up on the floor (one group is by Wendy's bed, the other by the window as you exit the room). These blocks spell Pan and DISNEY. The "s" is an upside down "5."
Real Hidden Mickey See the list of contributors
Note: I am no longer taking reports on this one unless there is a refurb and the Imagineers change this effect.
Actually, there are three names the blocks spell out.
    1. DISNEY - The "s" is an upside down 5
    2. P PAN - you can see this one if you're in line next to the rail when the boats are going into the Nursery. If you lean a little over the rail, you can see this one plain as day
    3. PAN - this is a second Pan in the nursery. It can bee seen with two of the letters on their sides. none are piled, only on the floor

    UPDATE: Tiffany 10 JUL 98
The "S" is actually an upside down number 5.

The letter blocks in the children's nursery actually spell out PETER PAN, not just P PAN. If the letters are facing front, only the P in PETER is fully visible, as the PAN blocks hide the rest of the name. But several times, I have seen the blocks turned so that the letters are on the top face, making the full name easy to read.

  2. Next time you are waiting in line at the Peter Pan attraction, look up at the turret on top of the Snow White attraction. Every thirty seconds to one minute or so, the Wicked Queen opens the curtains, looks down on the crowd for a few seconds, and then pulls the curtains closed again. Sometimes, it is easier to see this at night. Very few people notice unless they know to look up and wait for it to happen.

If you are sitting on the right (or if you are really friendly with the person sitting there!) Look straight down as you make that turn. Those children's blocks that seem to be placed at random spell out "Peter Pan" when viewed from above. As the ride continues, sit back and enjoy: this is the best ride at the park!

  1. At the entrance to Tomorrowland there are large rock outcroppings on either side of the Orbitor. The rocks on the right side (facing Tomorrowland) have a hidden Donald Duck face. On the flat edge of one of the rocks (really high up) is an etched facimile of Donald. I spotted it looking for another hidden Mickey on the rocks. Several other guests with me conformed the hidden Donald. It's easy to see if the lighting and angle is right. Best viewed looking from the rocks on the left side.

Someone reported that there is a etched facsimile of Donald Duck on the rocks at the entrance to Tomorrowland. I either was looking in the wrong place, it is no longer there, or it is Wishful Thinking. I even climbed up on the railing by the rocks and my friends were worried I was going to get into trouble. All I know is that I didn't see it and neither did the rest of my party. I call Wishful Thinking or Lost. You decide.

  1. Last time I went to Disneyland, I found a hidden Goofy! I was in Tomarrowland and decided to go in Innoventions. So, I waited in line and then when it was time, they pushed me onto the 1 mile an hour rotating building. As everyone watched the three televisions featuring "Tom Marrow", I observed the walls looking for Hidden Mickeys. Well, much to my surprise, I didn't find Mickey but Goofy instead! If you cannot see the pictures, he is hidden in a painting of the world on the wall. Near the right hand corner, there's this painting on the wall of the world balancing on what looks like a roman column. I looked closely and saw that the continents on the world formed a Hidden Goofy! At first I was shocked and then the whole thought behind the picture hit me. I cracked up once I realized what the artist of this discovery was saying. He was basically saying: "the world is goofy!". I applaud the symbology behind this and the philosophy as well.
