If you CONFIRMED at a bird's eye-view of Disneyland, you will see Space Mountain forming the head, and the rockets and the old America Sings building (Might be Carrousel of Progress building, I'm not sure).

  2. At the new "entrance" to Tomorrowland where the Astro Orbiter is located that there is a new Hidden Mickey. On the southern rock outcropping, at the top and on the right hand side, one of the rock stratifications has a dark patch shaped like a Mickey.
    REPORTED: Ric 02 JAN 98
At the new entrance to Tomorrowland, on the south facing side of the rock in front of the Orbitor attraction there is a depression that has what seem to be Mickey ears. When asked, an attenndant at the park confirmed it as a Hidden Mickey.
CONFIRMED: Chad Larkin 20 JAN 98
Tomorrowland has a Hidden Mickey at the entrance. It has one planned by Disney, but there's another, which looks quite accidental. The one they planned is classic (one large and two small) and the other is a three-quarter view. Here are three pictures. The first shows the classic, the second shows the location of the classic, and the third shows the accidental.
UPDATE: Ed Johnston 21 AUG 98 pict from
When you enter Tomorrowland near the Orbiter look up to the rock formation on your left. Near the top there is a depression in the formation and a hidden Mickey. I stand 5'7" and could not reach it as I extended my arm to point it out to my husband. I did not take a picture..hopefully someone else will confirm with a photo.

This may be just an accidental hidden Mickey or wishful thinking, but as I was standing next to the Astro Orbiter ride I could swear I saw a hidden Mickey in the rock formations. I was standing so that I was looking out toward the center of the park with the ride to the right of me I could see that three rocks in the upper right hand side of the formation create a Mickey head. They are not perfectly round but they are the right proportions. I was there on Friday March 26, 1999.

  6. Sometimes on weekends and late in the day, the line for the Tomorrowland Monorail station can wrap all the way around the submarine lagoon towards the Fantasyland Autopia. About halfway between the station and the Fantasyland Autopia there is a hidden Mickey located in the lagoon. At this location there is an outcropping of coral between the edge of the lagoon and the tracks for the submarines. There are three to four crabs on this outcropping and one of them has a blue Mickey's Head on the back of its shell.
REPORTED: John Bode 22 SEP 96
I saw two large crabs with definite circles painted on their backs, one large and two small each. They are visible only from above and not from inside the subs themselves. The crabs are underwater, about two - three feet down. Both of them are white and one has blue circles, while the other has red. This has been a tough one to photograph, though it's easy to see if you know pict from where to look. The water is turbulent because of the constant passage of the subs. This is the one I call the blue crab (the other, next to it, is the brown one). They are actually both white, but one has blue highlights and the other has brown. The Hidden Mickeys have been painted on with a large circle and two smaller circles, the smaller circles of each crab facing the opposing crab.

Took a monorail ride today and went over the crabs. I noted that on the side opposite the viewing site there are hidden Mickeys painted on the crabs. So there are hidden Mickeys both where you can see them from the line AND where you can see them from the monorail. Now, why didn't I think of this before? Too bad they will, along with the submarine ride, be taken out.

    CONFIRMED: TRMHatter 19 MAR 01
Just a note--while at Disneyland on a day trip Wednesday, June 6, and at Grad Nite on Thursday, June 14, I noticed that the Hidden Mickey of the old Submarine ride seems to have taken a little tumble. At the Kodak Photo Spot near the Matterhorn, at the edge of Tomorrowland, the underwater crab with the blue Mickey painted on his shell has fallen over and is laying upside down a few feet from where he used to be. You can see his white belly and his little legs, but no Mickey. I told a few Cast Members, but no one really seemed too interested in me.
UPDATE: David Huerta 16 JUN 01
The Hidden Mickey on the blue crab at the Matterhorn/Submarine Lagoon Kodak Spot is gone. The poor crab is laying upside down about 10 feet down the slope he used to rest on. All you can see is his belly and his little white feet. I noticed this at Grad Nite (June 2001), and no matter how many Cast Members I've told since then, no one wants to fix him.

  7. When I was leaving the Autopia ride while walking back down to Tomorrowland I was looking at fruit tree (not sure what kind), but i came across 3 fruits in the shape of Mickeys head. (One on bottom and two on top) I guess this is not a real "hidden mickey" but it seems weird for a tree to grow fruit like this.
