I was recentaly at Disneyland Paris to represent America for the 4th Annual Children's Summit. We had several meetings in Videolopis, after the park had closed. The first time we were there, I wanted to go look at Space Mt., and mabey sneak into the viewing area (I didn't see a door!), but DLP had placed CMs every 100 feet or so to make sure we find our way out. On the last night, on our way out, I noticed that there was co CM over by Space Mountain. I ran over there along with the person I wrote the essay with. We are both VERY BIG Disney fans, Matt (My partner) was on the WDW 25th Anniversary Special. And I have been in Kids Around the World (A Disney magizine with articles sent in by kids). I knew the park pretty well, and me and Matt decied to get "lost", hoping to see something that the avreage guest doesn't see. I went over towards Cannon Colmbiad, and to my surprise, soem CMs were walking the track. Of corse we pulled out or Camreas, wich I cpuld tell the CM's were very happy with. Then I went over to the track, and I could see the CMs replacing the lightbulbs! It was so weird! I didn't bother them, as they were obvousaly busy. But then I saw one of the emploees bring some Pizza and soda over to everyone! I knew then it was BREAK TIME! and time for me to ask questions. Since I'm from America, and these were some French Teens, only one of them spoke english. He didn't speak perfect english, but I understtod him. But this is what he told me (I might of misunderstood, or he might of said it wrong): --It takes 10 hours to replace Space Mountains Lights. --It takes 18 Hours to replace the rest of the parks lights. --They don't sleep much. We thanked him and went on our way. I knew he wasn't supposed to do that. I knew it was wrong of me to go over there. But this proves, that the Magic of Disney isn't just in US, it is present worldwide. Only if he had a nametag on!
