  1. Don't you think it's ironic that the main attraction in the Land is a boat ride and the main attraction in the Living Seas is a tram ride?
REPORTED: Melanie Emmons 20 APR 96
  2. The Land is the largest pavillion at Epcot. It covers six acres and includes greenhouses and laboratories tostudy agricultural techniques.
REPORTED: Safari Steve: Jungle Skipper 10 JAN 00
  3. If you take the elevator in The Land, hit the lowest floor and it takes you to a huge underground complex where the employees' lockers, breakrooms, etc. are located
    REPORTED: anon 06 AUG 00
  4. There is, in fact, just one tile difference between the 2 tile murals at the entrance to The Land Pavilion.
REPORTED: Lisa Littlefiel 12 DEC 96
As you walk towards the building the mural on the right has the difference. Good Luck, this one is really hard to find!
CONFIRMED: Divina DeBuono Mitrovic 09 JUN 98
In The Land mural there are is one tile different in each side. One side has a ruby colored tile, the other has a Emerald colored tile. The reason I was told by a fellow cast memeber is that the Mural was made by a father and daughter, and that they each worked one one side of the mural. The different stones represent their birth stones.
    CONFIRMED: Kiz 08 JUL 98
  5. More than 30 tons of fruits and vegetables grown at The Land pavilion at Epcot are served in Walt Disney World restaurants.
REPORTED: Jason Dixon 23 NOV 99

Living with the Land

  1. In the farm house scene in the Celebrating the Land ride there is an '82 on the mailbox which ironically is the year EPCOT opened
REPORTED: larry kolbicka II 29 JAN 98
The firestation in Magic Kingdom as such being one. I do not know of MGM but in In EPCOT its in the Living With the Land Boatride, while going through the tour you come to different scenes of how America gets/grows food. Check out the Farm scene of America of old. The address on the mailbox has the number 1982 for the year EPCOT opened.
    CONFIRMED: Disney25th 07 JUN 98
  2. The dog in the farm scene of Epcot's The Land boat ride is the same dog as the one in Epcot's Horizons, Magic Kingdom's Carrousel of Progress and the one holding the keys in Magic Kingdom's Pirates of the Caribbean. It was Walt Disney's dog.
REPORTED: Emilie Creede 13 MAR 99 pict from hiddenmickeys.org pict from hiddenmickeys.org
  3. I was a Horticulture Intern at the Land back in 1995 (A very unique program that you don't hear a lot about, compared to the College Program). The device in the lab that holds the tubes is used to turn liquid tissue cultures. The sloshing motion lets oxygen that the plant roots need to survive into the liquid. The green is just a different colored cap on the tubes.

Land Grill

  1. Enter and go straight to the railing and look down. The table and stools are arranged to be a Hidden Mickeys. During the day the stools are move around a lot so it may not be that way for long.
    REPORTED: Stan Sroka
CONFIRMED: Gary Eckhardt 17 FEB 94

With all due respect to Stan and Gary, give me a break. The Land is heavily populated with round tables and round stools. If every combination of round tables and round chairs is a Hidden Mickey, then the Disney empire has infiltrated a large number of kitchens in homes around the world! Confirmed or not, I firmly believe that they're just tables and chairs.
WISHFUL THINKING: Dan Amrich 24 SEP 95
I was just there last weekend and a Cast Member told me that she has watched guests actually moving tables and chairs as they were leaving to make Mickeys!
NOTE: TR Shaw 25 SEP 95
  2. When going up the ramp to enter the Land Pavilion, you see two great mosiac murals. When Disney commisioned the artist, they told him that they wanted two identical murals on either side. The artist said that he never does the same piece twice...So, to keep his artistic freedom, you'll notice that on the right hand mural about halfway into it, you'll see a pure green tile that looks obviously out of place. That's his token stone just to make the two different.
REPORTED: Jenni Schek 06 DEC 96
    CONFIRMED: BrennaJera 07 JAN 98

Food Rocks

  1. The junk food junkies lead singer has "I Love Cholesterol" tattooed on his right bicep.
    REPORTED: Weeks 30 JUL 96
The tatoo does read "I Love Cholesterol". Significantly, the tatoo is also accompanied by a heart with a dagger through it.
CONFIRMED: Scott Frank 05 AUG 97
  2. How many of the Food Rocks characters come from the older version of the show? I recognize a couple, I think, including the milk carton that sings with the Refrigerator Police.
REPORTED: Scott Frank 05 AUG 97
