• The SHML has registered with SafeSurf and RSACi. The SHML has implemented the Platform for Internet Content Selection (PICS) system to protect children from undesirable content on the net.
• You can obtain information and filtering software for kids at SafeSurf's Internet Lifeguard Page and RSACi's How To page.
• The SHML is working on a new posting form to ask for age. Everyone below the age of 15 will be registered as anon.
• The SHML has published for everyone on the net, but especially for posters on the SHML, a special page on how to deal with unwanted or offensive email.
• You can always ask for anon status when posting to the SHML
