Pro-active User Support
- The SHML has registered with SafeSurf and RSACi. The SHML has implemented the Platform for Internet Content Selection (PICS) system to protect children from undesirable content on the net.
- You can obtain information and filtering software for kids at SafeSurf's Internet Lifeguard Page and RSACi's How To page.
- The SHML is working on a new posting form to ask for age. Everyone below the age of 15 will be registered as anon.
- The SHML has published for everyone on the net, but especially for posters on the SHML, a special page on how to deal with unwanted or offensive email.
- You can always ask for anon status when posting to the SHML
- The SHML will change your email address to a new one when you change addresses or change it to anon if you feel uncomfortable. Send email to webmaster@hiddenmickeys.org with "EMail Change" for the subject and specify your original and new email addresses. The SHML is working on a new form to accept this information which will make it easier for both of us.
