Signature Update System for Mac OSX

This package installs the complete ClamAV® Unofficial Signature Update System based upon Bill Landry's script onto Mac OSX. It also installs a support application, socat, and various associated scripts built by OITC integrating its periodic operation and log rolling within the OSX standard framework.

Complete documentation is available by typing into terminal:

man 8 /usr/local/share/man/man8/clamav-unofficial-sigs.8

The system's configuration file is located at:

/private/etc/clamav-unofficial-sigs.conf

The installer tailors the system's configuration file to integrate with Mac OSX and is compatible with ClamAV installations under OSX Server, MacPorts, clamXav and those using ClamAV's default installation location, such as OITC's CTW:ClamAV.
